Avenpart Matty in France:

Hi Mary,

I just came back of my first herding  clinic with Avenpart Matty and she did beautifully ! Traditionally the clinics end with an informal trial, and Matty and I won the novice class, in front of three young Border Collies, with 51 points over 57... I am so pleased!  She works very nicely!  Catherine and Matt

SHEAR OUTBACK YARD DOG TRIAL:

Saturday 7th April at Shear Outback the Hay Yard Dog Trial was run, Mary competed with Jopoahill Josh, Puzzle Chevy, Avenpart Wump and Avenpart Maximus. These four dogs competed in the Local (100 klms Radius) Trial, Novice and Open. Avenpart Maximus won the Local with Puzzle Chevy 4th and Avenpart Wump was placed 4th in the Novice.  

Avenpart Maximus missed out being a finalist in the Open because Mary did not get the put away gate shut quick enough. He came out with a score of 80 which would have been 90 if I had got the 10 points for the put away.

All in all very successful day as the dogs had been doing the shearing for just on four weeks and had no competition practice at all.  It was a particularly well run trial.
