Halsted's Rex
Sire: Wyreema Rasputin
Dam: Avenpart Chloee

Rex needs no introduction having won yard and arena trials also the Victorian Utility Trial Championship 2000. Rex has progeny working in Canada, Finland, Sweden, Holland, Switzerland and naturally Australia.


Avenpart Wump
Sire: Halsteds Rex
Dam: Cotaway Dell

A wide casting dog. Very strong walk-up on sheep and cattle, will nose bite on command. Backs freely and would naturally back cattle. Wump is siring intelligent, calm pups suitable for both station and trial work.


Jopahill Josh
Sire: Gunna Chief
Dam: Avenpart Rubee

An excellent station dog with eye and style in the paddock. Plenty of bark in the yard and an enthusiastic backer. Won and placed in Utility Trials.


Avenpart Maximus
Sire: Hallidays Boxer
Dam: Condover Grand

This young dog is wide casting with good heading ability, medium eye. Natural backer with free bark. Excellent temperament, a potential stud sire.


Avenpart Jacko

Dam: Cotway Dell

Full brother to Wump. Wide cast, good distance, medium eye. Plenty of bark and backing ability.



In 1996 Avenpart exported the first ever Kelpie semen to John Brown, Balbuthie Farms, Fife, Scotland. John had Previously owned Avenpart Kelpies imported in utero by Kate Bottoms, AVEN Kelpie Stud (UK) in the 1980's, but now needed some outside blood.

Semen from two sires, Matt and Tommy was sent over. Two litters of 7 were born to Matt, Tommy had a litter of 11, then a litter of 7 out of one of Matt's daughters.



Avenpart Zondo
Sire: Glenville Jack
Dam: Avenpart Wimpy

Zondo needs no introduction, being one of the most famous and influential sires of his time. He was a strong working dog and very potent sire, producing such top offspring as Capree Watch, Pinky, Zap and Shep. His progeny are in Norway, Sweden, Russia, Holland and England.


Cottonwood Matt
Sire: Capree Tex
Dam: Cottonwood Polly

Matt was one of Avenparts best sires, complimenting the Zondo influence. A very stylish black and tan dog, winner of Yard and Arena trials and placed in utility trials. A natural backer with bark on command. Matt loved cattle work and had strong walk up, with nose and heel bite on cattle when necessary.
